Varve Studios is the creative home of Mark Hilverda. I’m a designer and geoscientist who loves space, art, and web dev.
Beyond a love for science, I build handcrafted websites including fun projects for Bill Nye, The University of Nevada, Reno, and The Planetary Society, among others.
I also create custom illustrations to communicate vision with beauty. You can even find some of my art on the planet Mars on the Perseverance rover as shown below.
